Prof. (Dr.)  Himanshu Pandey is working as Professor of Law at MNLU, Nagpur. Prior to this, he served National Law University and Judicial Academy, Guwahati, Assam as Associate Professor of Law cum Registrar, between July, 2015 to November, 2016. He started his teaching career as a Lecturer in Vivek Law College, Bijnor, U.P. in 2005 and later worked as Assistant Professor of Law at School of Law, Devi Ahilya University, Indore between December, 2007 to April, 2015.

The academic qualifications of sir include B.A. (Psychology, Criminology, and Education), LL.B. from Dr. Hari Singh Gour University, Sagar, M.P., LL.M. (Commercial Law) from Faculty of Law, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh; UGC-NET (Law); and Ph.D. in Law (2014) on “Prevention and Control of Terrorism for the Protection of Human Rights” from Awadhesh Pratap Singh University, Rewa.

He is also sharing the administrative responsibilities as Head Centre for Corporate Law & Governance; Head, Department of Law; Convener, Examination Committee; Member of Executive Council, Academic Council, Research Committee, Building Committee, Purchase Committee; editor ‘MNLU, Nagpur Contemporary Law Review’, Bi-Annual Faculty Peer Reviewed Journal of Maharashtra National Law University, Nagpur. He has also been a Co-Project Director, for Research Programme titled “Hate Crimes- Prejudices and Violence Faced by People from North Eastern States and Measures to Counter- A Empirical Study “sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India. His areas of interest are Research Methodology, Insurance Law, Company Law, Evidence Law, and International Trade Law. He has published various Research Papers and e-contents for ‘UGC-E-Pathsala Project’ of Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India under National Mission on Education through ICT (NME- ICT). Some noteworthy works are Modules published in UGC- E-Pathsala on Basics of Research, Research Problem, Research Design, Methods of Data Collection, and Tools and Techniques of Data Collection.

He has delivered special lectures in Institutions of repute such as National Academy of Direct Taxes, Nagpur; Department of Law, Tata Institute of Social Science Mumbai; UGC-Human Resource Development Centre, DAVV, Indore; Institute of Company Secretaries of India (Indore Chapter); National Institute of Public Cooperation and Child Development Western Regional Centre Indore.
